Question How do you package up your bows before shipping?

I was just wondering how some of you send out your bows to the customers? As of right now I attach mine to the bow cards and then put them in a ziplock bag and blow some air in there before I zip it shut. Then I scrunch up a little tissue paper on the bottom of the box and then put the bows in. No complaints of ruined bows from customers, but I was wondering if maybe there is a more professional way to do it. Thanks!

I attach to bow cards and wrap in tissue and place in a baggie and have a paper shredder so I shred colored paper and place in the bottom of the box and place items on that.

I like the shredded paper idea...

Where do you get your boxes to ship?

I get all my boxes at uline. I don't put mine in ziploc bags, just cards and tissue and have never had a complaint in 8 years.

I put mine in baggies, but most women just put some tissue around it and they say it works just fine. Just FYI...I've heard that if you use shredded colored paper to pad it, be sure the bow is wrapped in something because the dye in the paper can rub off on the bows. No personal experience with that, but that's what I heard.

Ditto only 6 years

another cheap way of getting boxes is shoe boxes for the little kid shoes at Target, when we go there, the kids and I search for boxes ppl havent taken for the shoes and if I hit it on the day they are marking clearance, look out, a whole cart full!!!

I buy wholesale from 2 hairbow companies that both have great packaging ideas. The first one is Katelyn and co. When she ships her bows, she stuffs the loops with big cotton balls so they don't get squished. The second one is peanut posh. Her packaging Rocks. I don't have an example, but every item is in a clear celophane bag, and attached to professionally printed cardstock with her logo, etc. on them. Next time I order I'll snap a quick pic of how they are packaged.
