Default Bottlecap resin question

I've heard a lot of things about the different resins (I think that's what they are) that you use to seal the bottlecaps. What do you prefer? ET Lite, Diamond Glaze, Mod Podge, or something else? I'm going to Michaels tomorrow (to use my coupons) and wanted to get some, but wanted to pick your brains first! I'm so excited to get started!

TIA

Katie

I tried 2 different resins just this week. ET Lite did NOT work well for me at all. Some swear by it, but my caps never dried---even after 5 days!! I must not have mixed it right. I ordered the Colores Doming Resin from the RioGrande website, and it is FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! I put my caps in the oven this morning, and they got hard as a rock!! So excited!! I used to do Scrabble tiles with Diamond Glaze, and I've since learned that it will yellow over time.

So is there a trick to ET Lite? It sounds like it's difficult. I saw mom2tylerandali's post and maybe it was just the title of her post, but now I'm really interested! I'm wondering though if it yellows over time like the Diamond glaze is said too. Anyone know? I want to order something today, so any info would be great! Thanks all for your responses!

I can tell you that I had bubbles galore with the ET Lite (although they were very easy to get out) AND you have to wait AT LEAST 24 hours for it to cure (some say longer---more like 2-3 DAYS). With the Colores Doming Resin, bubbles are not an issue at all----I had literally a couple teeny tiny ones that surfaced very easily with a lighter---AND I've already done 2 batches TODAY that are rock hard---just like Chrissie's caps. It costs a little more, but it's sooooooo worth it to me, since the ET Lite totally defeated me!!!!

ihave used diamond glaze and it was a waste of my money =( but i love the etlite its all i use, the trick to it are very accurate measuring and coat the images and edges of the images with modge podge before using the etlite =) i use a lighter or mini blow torch to pop the bubbles
