Default template and sewing question

I got my templates last night and LOVE them!! Thank you nobownogo they are amazing. But my new problem is that it is so time consuming to stop folding and then to tread my needle to sew. How do you ladies finish and sew your bows from the template?

Do you have many needles pre-threaded, do you just take wire or thread and wrap? help!! I feel that i could be making so many more ribbons if I could figure out a rhythm.

Thanks ladies

I keep two needles threaded and knotted. I just use one and tie it off and reknot it for the next time. I keep the other in case its off center and I need to cut the knot and pull it out. I don't need to stop and reknot.

I've done both, sew centers and just wrap and tie. I find wrapping and tying is much faster, but you have to be careful when you tie so the creases are even and neat. I use a heavy duty thread that I got at Joann's in the fabric section. It is a huge spool and I don't remember the type, but it is strong! I wrap on the template, slide off and form twisted bows, I clip with a sally clip, wrap around twice with the thread, and as I begin to tie off, I do it SLOWLY so that it gathers more evenly in the center. Once it is tight, I pull SUPER TIGHT and knot off. Haven't had any problems with my bows. I do sew my spikes and surround loops though, and then sew them all together when assembling stacked bows. When I get a moment, I will take a pic so you can see my centers.

thanks ladies. I started tying today and it was a little time consuming to get the center just right i just took a really really really long thread and then i would knot it, cut it and knot it for the next one. it was much easier then having to rethread every time.
