Default More Korker questions

Does the wood burning tool cut the ribbon as well as seal?
Also when do you spray them with starch?
I'm having a senior moment
Thanks Sue

The wood burning tools are awsome not only do they cut but seal the ribbon. I spray mine after I am done making the krokers.

I agree, wood burning tool is awesome!! This weekend was my first time using it to use it. Before I would use a rotary cutter then lighter to seal the ends. The cutting and sealing in one step is so nice!

I use starch before. I like the firmer feel to the ribbon, makes the pieces stand up nicely. I roll the ribbon onto the dowel and then once down I spray each one (over a towel or you'll have a mess!) and then bake at 250 for 20-25 mins
