Angry Help!!!

Ok I'm painting my clean, bottlecaps with Rustoleum white spray primer first and I let them dry completely and then spray them with Rustoleum white glossy spray paint and they are all getting these cracks and peeling up! It looks like a chemical reaction!!! This didn't happen when I just used the spray paint, but it doesn't cover as well as I like it too. I do not like the way Sharpies paint, and paint pens really aren't that great either!!! Please girls let me know what do you use to paint or what's wrong with this stupid spray paint?!?

Are you cleaning your bottlecaps first? You need to make sure your caps are free of anykind of residue/grease/oil....even from your fingers!! I use aerosol window cleaner or any kind of alcohol based cleaner would work...and make sure to let them dry super well...even a tiny speck of wetness can mess up your whole world. Clean the other sides as well because even that can mess up paint...I used to be super anal when it came to my caps cuz I used to work in a bodyshop with hubby and he would drill into my head to make sure everything was super squeaky clean and oil/grease free cuz it would mess up an entire paintjob! And try lightly scuffing your caps before you clean them with like a light scotchbright pad the scratches help the paint to adhere. Hope that helps.
