Default Flower beanie

I'm new to all of this. One thing I've always wanted to make is a hydrangea flower beanie. Whats the best way to attach the flower petals to the beanie? I want to cover the whole beanie and not just a portion of it. If anyone has any tips on what glue to use or if you would sew the flowers on? what do you put in the middle of the petals, rhinestones etc? Any ideas tip are much appreciated.

I do a hydrangea beanie, but I don't cover the whole thing. I sew them on and then I use jewel glue and put a little rhinestone in the center. HTH

Thanks for the reply Mareya. The jewel glue you use is it a special brand? I've seen bead glue at Micael's is that the same type of glue your talking about?

I have done these before, as I have a good friend that is a children's photographer and wanted a lavender one. I must have used about 200 blooms. It took about 1.5 - 2 hours to do. I used fabric tac and put the beanie on a small ball so I could really squish the flowers together to not see any fabric. She has not yet used it, but when she does, I will post a pic.
