Default Packaging Bows for Shipping

I've seen some ladies ask about how to ship their bows. Since one of my Etsy customers said my packaging was "impeccable" in their feedback, I thought I'd share pics of how I do it. It's not anything special, but it works for me.

I include a handwritten thank you note, a business card, and a magnetic calendar, along with two free clippies. I got the note pad, business cards and calendars free from Vista Print. The thank you sticker is just an address label that I also got for free on Vista Print. I uploaded my designs and took advantage of all their many free offers they email EVERYDAY.

The order in the picture was an order of four 5" stacked bows. I stuck some crinkled up tissue in the space on the right side of the box to keep the bows from sliding around. The bows are all on bow cards and they all fit perfectly in the box. The size of the box is 8 3/4" x 11 1/2" x 2 1/8" and is a self-locking mailing box by Duck. One day, I will order boxes in bulk from Uline. Hope this helps!

Great idea for packaging. I haven't sold any bows yet, but for my purse orders I always wrap in white tissue paper and use purple curling ribbon. I stamp a little "Thank You" tag in a pretty shade of purple, punch a hole in it and string it on one of the curled ribbons (but don't tie it so they can slip it off and use it later if they like) and I always add a business card. I LOVE your ideas. I think I need to order some things from Vista. Thanks for sharing your ideas and for showing us pictures...they always help.

Diane

Wow! That is very nice. Do you wrap each bow individually with every order?

Thanks,
Robin
