Yes, wax paper~
You know, even if you bake them right, they don't taste good!

I see you are in South Africa! My brother and his family are moving to Swaziland, Africa in May. He and my SIL are Christian missionaries and will be opening up an orphanage there. I am so proud of him, but my heart hurts thinking of him leaving! Ok, now I am crying! I guess he will be a few hours away from South Africa.

but make sure your baking tray doesn't have stains on them, like mine do (I use them alot) because they will stain your bows, but it was def. the wax paper that caused the smoke problem, my dh did the same thing one time.

I was sitting at the counter making some pumpkin clippies. I had socks on and my foot slipped off the bar stool and I hit the counter just right and managed to break the tip of my toe. I was 7 or 8 months pregnant at the time so I was already seeing my OB and 2 high risk doctors. I wasn't happy about having to see yet another doctor. The doctors all had a field day with it. They put me in a shoe to prevent me from falling. I was quite a sight. Pregnancy waddle & broken toe limp.

Do you guys use a baking sheet specifically only for bows? cuz my hubby uses that for baking mini pizzas and stuff... do i need to have a seperate one for my bows?

briellasnana, I think its great that your brother is opening up an orphanage in swaziland... my parents intend on living in the usa so i will also be away from my parents but honestly in todays day the internet has made it possible to stay in touch.. and skype gives u the camera view

petals, ahh.. seriously lol it is dangerous... i keep bleeding from the needle and thread.. i poke myself maybe 10 times making a bow.. so now i went and bought that thing to cover my finger so i dont keep sticking the needle INTo my finger instead of the bow
