I have found that the 7mm works best, but it's a personal preference
you will get some that like the 8mm to me it's to big.

Dumb question. I ordered some bottlecaps and they have split rings on them. If someone (like my 7 yr old granddaughter) wants a bottlecap with a purchased ribbon necklace on it, how do I get the necklace on it? The hole in the split ring is too small. Do I have to use another jump ring to put it on or how? Please help. Thanks

the ribbon necklace should slide right on. (if they caps you are talking about are mine). Use the none clasp side, where the extender chain is at. You might have to jiggle it around.

If they doesn't work, remover the clasp on the necklace and slide on. I could help better if I knew the exact type of necklace you use.

You can't remove the clasp on the necklace. It is the kind of ribbon necklace with ribbon and 3 strands of roping material with the clasp attached. I tried jiggling it around but it will not go through. It just may not work with these necklaces.

oh thats weird. I use the same ones and it usually slides right on. I use a bigger split ring than most. I use 9mm.

I take the end off of the ribbon necklaces and put the end back on when I'm done threading the necklace.
