Does the tape hold up if the tape gets wet? My customers can swim in or wash my bows.

I have bought tape in ALL the buys and tried everything and it just does not stay sticked for me!!! So I glue, have a tut on it for sale if anyone would be interested, I can put it up for a HG special on my site

I never burn myself lining clips any more AND it shows tape & hot glue methods as well as lining clips with silicone

I've posted the tape question on at least 6 threads and you're the only one who has answered. I didn't think it would hold and didn't see how it could. You can't beat hot glue and I mean hot. I figured out long ago how to get around burning myself. Woke my ex-husband up about 14 years ago with the nastiest burn on my inner thigh and haven't been there since. lol.. I suspect you have been at this almost as long as I have. I guess technically I'm am old timer--bow wise that is.

I was using hot glue, but I love the way they look with tape so clean and smooth they stick well I do hot glue the part that goes on the clamp side you know were you press to open the clip because I had one lift so I decided as a precausion to put a small dab of glue to help secure it.

I love how smooth the tape looks for clips, but I am just so slow at taping them, I can hot glue line clips much faster.

I can't say if they hold up after being wet I'm new at the whole tape thing, But I have read in another thread that they hold up after being put thru the wash.

As for lining tape is way faster than glue the key is to apply tape to a longer section like a yard or so press down firmly while you apply it to the ribbon and then cut your sections the other day I lined about 70 clips in 1/2 an hour
