Default If you use alligator clips for your bows....

Do you line your clips? Give me an idea of your choice and why you decided to do it that way.

And for those of you that partially line, is that just the inside of the part of the clip that is attached to the bow or the outside and inside? Anyone have a picture that you can share to show me what it looks like? What size ribbon do you use? 1/4" or 3/8"?

Thanks,
Hunter

I partially line because I can't stand the way they look when they are not lined. It makes me twitch to see a cute bow and then that silver clip ugghh. I only partially line because I think it holds better in the hair.

I partially line because I don't like seeing naked clips. I also only partially line because I find a fully lined clip snags the hair when you put it in and I hate that. A partially lined clip goes in smoother.

I partially line because it looks like a boutique quality bow with a grosgrain lined clip, whether it is an alli clip, snap clip or boutique clip. I don't fully line because the metal prong on the bottom slides next to ponytails in baby hair much easier.

I agree with everyone else on partially lining my clips. Plus, on the bows, my DD likes to add bows to her woven headbands, so they must be partially lined :-)
