I partially line because I can't stand the look of a bare clip, but know that it's MUCH eay to get the clip to slip into little ones hair when hey aren't fully lined...

I partially line. They seem to stay in the hair better and look much better clipped to headbands and flip flops, etc.

I think they look good with ribbon on them instead of seeing metal

Talking Re: If you use alligator clips for your bows....

Hi. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a faster way to line alligator clips. I have to line a whole bunch by the end of the weekend and my going rate is about 20 clips an hour...don't know if that's slow or fast. i've heard people say they can line 15 clips in 20 minutes. how is this possible? I need to make fully lined clips on double prong alligator clips....help....

On the rare occasion that I've done it I've partially lined them.

I also partially line my clips, I think they look a bit better in quality when lined. I try to get my daughters to line clips for me and I offer them some incentive if they get them done right. I am very particular about quality and glue showing.
