yea, what she said! LOL... A few years ago before I knew better and before I found some great free instructions, I did fully line the clip and it was such a PITA to get into and out of the ponytails.

I fully line, but have been thinking about partially lining. I like the look of a fully lined a lot better, but have heard that the partially lined works better.

I partially line as well. I do it because I do not like to see the clip, I think it makes it look more professional. I know some people line both sides so it does not snag hair but I have never had a problem with them snagging my daughters hair.

I also partially lined. You can test it on your own hair... it stays put better!

I agree, I also think it makes the bow look more professional, instead of simply adding a well done bow to a boring clip.

Bringing this back up. SO most of you fully line just the plain clippies and only partially line the fuller ones? I'm going to make some plain clippies and I was wanting some opinions! TIA!

I prefer the partially lined clip. It just goes in the hair easier.

Just a question...when you partially line, do you use single or double? I was fully lining everything, but I do some partial now. I have only double prong, BUT I think the single would look better and function better for partial.

I partially line...I've had fully lined clips pull my dd's hair when you try to put them in..and I have had lots of customers double check to make sure that I do NOT fully line them because they have the same problem too! And I don't think the fully lined clips stay as well..I partially line and use a no-slip lining!
