Thank you all so much for your responses! Keep them coming. I also added the following questions to my original post.

And for those of you that partially line, is that just the inside of the part of the clip that is attached to the bow or the outside and inside? Anyone have a picture that you can share to show me what it looks like? What size ribbon do you use? 1/4" or 3/8"?

Thanks so much for your help,
Hunter

agreed! it finished them off and makes them look professional!

I also partially line, leaving the underside metal prong exposed, so it goes into hair easier. I use ribbon that is 9-10mm wide. I always line, even if you can't really see the clip under the bow, I think it looks nicer, and gives the clip a better finished look.

I am the one and only "OTHER" LOL

I didnt know what to put because I partially and fully line them, it depends on who I am selling them too.

I mostly partially line my regular size alligators and I mostly fully line my mini alligators, unless the customer requests differently.

Honestly, I love the look of fully lined, but after having bought a few clips made this way in high-end boutiques, I learned the hard way that my daughter will only wear partially lined. The fully lined clips are hard to get into her hair, and they catch and snag when it comes time to take them out. So although I think they look nicer fully lined, they definitely aren't as "user friendly," so to speak. I figure if we prefer them partially lined in our household, I gotta sell them that way.

I always partially line mine because it just looks more professional and finished.

I partially line for the same reasons as above. But I also partially line becasue if they are uncovered the ends grab my daughters hair and pull when taking them out of her hair.

I partially line mines just looks finished. I used to fully line but it is easier to slide in hair when they are partially lined.
