I really really want to make these exact rosettes. I dont think that they are made of tulle because they look softer. Any ideas??? I'm begging!!!

Very cute- they kind of look like a tutorial I saw on here. I can't remember what they were called. I would like to know though if you find out.

Those are chiffon rosettes. VERY simple to make-take a length of chiffon, depending on how big you want it-maybe start with 2 inches by 24 inches. Either use your sewing machine and do a basting stitch on one side, or sew by hand, gather into tight ruffle and keep wrapping the material around in a circle. I tie off the end and sew the "bottom" together with a few stitches. Use a small piece of felt to glue to the back and put an a clip. Be use you get the chiffon tricot-the one used to make pettis-it doesn't fray.

The roses are made out of Nylon Chifffon fabric. You can order it online. It's the same stuff they use to make pettiskirts. www.afc-express.com has it in different widths and colors and its not very expensive.

These look different from the pic in the first post. These are more puffy, the pic in the first post is more flowery. I love the rosette!

The difference is the material-in the OP, the material is the nylon chiffon, in the etsy link, it is sheer/organza ribbon-two different looks, same process, though. HTH
