I usually put a piece of felt on the back of the bottle cap and use e6000 and glue on a center knot. Works great for me.

This might not be the best idea but I glue a button inside mine and hot glue (with a hot temp gun not a cool temp) the cap to my bow. I've never had a problem with mine coming off, even in the 100 degree summer!

Ive done mine two different ways. Ive used button shanks and ive used just 3/8ths ribbon.
Both with E6000.
And i like them both pretty much the same, but with button shanks you can just throw them in there and leave em' to dry and you dont have to know what color ribbon you need to match your bow.
