Default flattening painted bottlecaps?

Can I run painted bottlecaps through the cuttlebug to flatten them? I don't want to crack/chip the paint but I want them flattened and I am not sure I have time to order flattened/painted ones...

TIA,
Vicki

I would say it might depend too on whether they are the factory painted ones or ones that you painted yourself. I've never had luck with the ones that were hand painted. They always chip when I try to put holes in them for the jump rings, but I never have problems with the factory painted ones.

Yeah, that is probably the only way you'll know for sure. I ruined about 10 of the hand painted ones trying to punch holes for my jumprings. I finally just gave up and decided the hand painted ones would all have to be for bow centers. Hopefully, you will have better luck.
