Default Sequin fabric question....

OK - someone wants me to make 3" stars for them out of sequin fabric. Could I fuse it to the heat and Bond light, fuse it to a piece of felt and THEN cut a star??? Would that work???? HELP! They need these by Friday!

I am just trying to figure out a way to stop it from fraying and I would think that the fabric Tac would bleed through since it is a really thin fabric.

What if you add felt to the back?

That might work. If you fuse it to heat n bond first and then cut, is that supposed to prevent fraying? I tried it with a piece of fabric and the fabric still frayed. If you cut it out and it still frays, you can try and heat seal the edges.
Most sequin fabric is pretty thin, I wouldn't recommend using any glue with it.

IT WORKED!!!! I used the Heat and Bond lite - but I tink I could go heavier, because I fusd it to a piece of wool blnd felt and I still need more stabilization! But - I got the order so I am going to work on them now - will post pics when done.

I just got a request for sequin stars too ... so the felt worked out alright? I am making some in 1", 2", 3", and 4" sizes but I can't decide on pricing! Help! What would you guys normally charge and what would you charge for wholesale?
