hi i just began trying to make some clips but all the ones i've made so far look so messy because of the glue seeping out. how do i make it neater? if i use less glue it doesn't seem to stick.

i agree mini glue gun, I went a got a big one and have gone back to the little one, remember the glue doesn't have to go all the way to the edge.

Whenever I seem to have this problem, I glue a little further back from what I normally would so that there is room for the glue to seep.

I use the mini glue gun I bought at walmart, 1.47 I beleive. Works great, just have to go slow when sqweezing the glue out.

I had problems with the low temp glue. My stuff came apart. I think somewhere on the boards someone suggested to look at the type of glue you're using too. Make sure it's for fabric! Not all hot glue is created equal. I also glue in the middle and squeeze to the edges.

HTH!

I'm no expert but I have better luck with Fabric Tac and attach the creation to the clippie with hot glue - I'm just all thumbs with hot glue and I usually end up burning myself with the glue gun!
