Default felt attaching question

Hi! So i found these super cute felt pieces cut into the shape of flowers with rhinestones in the middle at hobby lobby the other day. i lined my clippies and attached the pieces with E-600, and then they fell off in two days . Any thoughts???? Is hot glue better for felt appliques????

Any hellp is appreciated!

Jamie

I just used felt pieces from Hobby Lobby too! that's funny. I sewed them on as buttons for the centers of my bows. I guess we'll see if they hold. I know felt stretches.

when you cut your own felt, do you use wool felt, or craft felt?

for my clippies I use my hot glue melting pot. ( from michael's) It works like a charm. If you buy a melting pot use a tooth pick so that have to most control with the glue. I hope that this helps.

I know exactly what you're talking about because I just bought some too-I just used glue for mine which is what I use for most all of mine and I've never had any problems with it. A lot of mine I can't sew on just because of what I put them on, so the glue gun works for me!

Michael's sells a felt glue that works like a charm. I use that on delicate pieces.
