Default Spikes...uugghhh!!

hi. i'm having problems with spikes....lol....that is probably the easiest part in a whole bow....well, not in my case... is there any methods or pattern to do them. when i get it all together in a bow it's all missed up. and i think the bow itself looks squashed, and this time i wasn't pulling hard in a center. Take a look, and let me know what you think. TIA, Roza

YOu might want to make sure the center of each layer stay EXACTLY on top of each other. I've given a spike tut here if you want to take a peek :-)

Something else on the spikes, especially if using a thinner ribbon like UB or wrights, you'll really want to starch it. I find if each layer is starched (or baked) then the shape will hold. Then just make sure each layer is lined up. I tend to put my bows together "backwards" so it's the top bow, the surrounds, then the spikes, then the base bow. Lynn's tutorial is awesome too on lining it up and the creasing!

I'm no help when it comes to making stacked bows. (I've still not attempted them.) I just wanted to say that I love you lollipop ribbon. It's so cute.
