Default tulle or chiffon pettiskirts

I am on a hunt for material for Pettiskirts. I told my 6 year old I would make her one for her bday but I can not find nylon chiffon. Do you think Tulle would look the same? I imagine I would have to do an extra underskirt to keep it from being scratchy. Any suggestions. OR links to get nylon chiffon from?

So, no help with chiffon, but I know they sell pettiskirts in Marshals for $20.

I just googled and this was the first link that came up
http://www.afc-express.com/nylon-chiffon.html

I thought that was a decent price. Let us know how the petti turns out, cuz I would LOVE to make one for DD, just not sure if I'm ready for that huge of a project

thanks, I dont have enough time to wait for an order to be delivered. I and trying tulle and poly chiffon. When making barbie clothes instead of heming the seams I heat sealed them. I know that is ALOT of heat sealing but I am going to try anyway. Ill let you know how it works and what worked best.
I will prob end up ordering for next time.
