Default Grip thingies for inside of clips...

Hi everyone!!

I have a quick question. We have been putting a little bit of velcro inside of all clips to grip and it has worked well. As a matter of fact, many of the ones I have purchased for my daughter come with this -- however, I have seen other types of grip thingies (not sure what they are called) used instead. What do you all use? and if you use something else, have you tried velcro?

Hi, my little secret is i use the stuff you line your shelves with. You get this in the kitchen dept at walmart, it helps your cups from moving around. I cut the material in strips to fit the alligator clips and glue them onto the top of the clip. I hope that helps you!

Some people also use Duck Hold It carpet tape. I haven't lined my clips yet with anything but want to try the tape.

really? does it have double sided tape to stick on? What is the drawback from using velcro?

Does anyone else use anything else?

I used the shelf liner, but didn't like it. I just got a thing of the aquarium sealent and tried it & my dd7 said her clip stayed in all day I think I will use it more often now, lol!!

Yes it is sticky on 1 side and sticks good. I have never tried using velcro.

I use duck hold it too. I'd be happy to send you sample if you'd like to try it. You buy it at Wal-mart, same place you find the regular duck tape. FYI Duck-Hold-It is suppose to be to keep your rugs still on your wood or tile floor. PM me your address if you want a sample of the Duck Hold it!
