Sorry, yes you do! You can get the machines on sale though at places like overstock.com and even at sizzix.com during their weekly Tuesday sales. Sometimes Joanns and Michaels have them for 50% or 40% off, or you can use a coupon.

i have tried everything under the sun to get my cricut expression to cut felt and it just won't do it, i use my bigkick

i also lightly spray my felt with starch on one side, let it dry, and then spray the other side and let it dry before cutting, i have found i cut much cleaner, crisper cuts this way

i hope this helps you some, and if anyone has had success getting their CE to cut felt please share

This is what I was going to say
And yes you would need a sizzix machine. Depending on your Michaels store you may be able to use a 40% off coupon. The Michaels where I live lets you use coupons on anything... including clearance sizzix and cuttlebug accessories

I've cut felt before. I use the deep blade and I sandwich felt between two pieces of paper.

Report back. I know it took me forever to get the cricut to work for me. It took lots of trial and error.

can you use this die with a sidekick?

What is the difference between a side kick and a big kick, besides size?
