It depends on what I'm working on. I love how ET Lite looks on scrabble tiles and bottlecaps and basically the top coat on anything. It is definitely a pain to work with though. I have been trying to do glass tiles and have had a hard time finding something to adhere the images with that doesn't bubble. I just bought some 3D Crystal Lacquer, Sun and Moon Glaze, and Diamond Glaze to try out. I haven't had a chance to work with all of them yet.

Another HG member recommended this as a replacement to ET Lite:

I'm going to try it. She said it drys just as hard, but it dries quicker and you can put it on the oven to dry it even quicker. Plus, she said there's not as many issues with it as ET Lite. It is a little more expensive, but I am sure that it would last a long time.

Hands down - Rio Grande. I threw all my ET away. I love this stuff!!! Dries the same hardness as ET , not NEARLY the same issues with bubbles at all!!! I can BAKE my caps - as stated in intructions with the kit - in an HOUR and have them complete!!!!!! I love, love this stuff! 2 8oz. bottles each, so it is double than the smaller size of ET, and I have not had the issues at ALL that I had with ET! I always had temperature issues, I live in WI and it is COLD here - that affected the outcome greatly. Not anymore!!! And I do a LOT of caps!

I am allergic to so many smells, including perfume!

I'm having a great time using the ETlite. I'm curious about the Colores Doming Resin System now. I wonder if I can bake the ET? I find it really easy but I live in West Texas and it is very dry and I would think that is an asset. I found that the bubbles are super easy (and FUN!)to remove from the ET. I use my kitchen torch(Its one I purchased to make creme brulee) You just sweep it across the surface and the bubbles just come to the top and burst like the surface of a soda. Its cool to watch.

Anyone try baking the ET? I think I will. The Colores Doming Resin System recomends 150 degree for 1 hour. If I don't blow up my oven I'll be back to let you know how it goes.

I have never baked ET because it doesn't state anything in the directions, and therefore was nervous about it. That stuff has soo many warnings on it as it is.

the Rio Grande came with instructions to bake, and that is what I always choose to do- It just goes so much faster for me. I turn my oven on timed at night before I go to bed (for 1 hour) and leave them in there until I get up. They are good to go then.

This does not have the smell that ET does. It is non-toxic as well, after it is in the dried state.

I really, really love this stuff.
