Default Attaching bows to alligator clips, how do you do it?

Just curious how everyone attaches their bows to alligator clips? I find it much easier to just hot glue the finished bow onto the clip, but I see many "hot to" tutorials stating to wrap the center ribbon around the clip and then hot glue. Is that necessary? Will my bows not be securely attached if I just hot glue the bow onto the clip? Thanks for any advice!

I just hot glue my bow onto the lined ally clip and I've never had a problem... I'm curious as to what others say as well.

I glue my bow to the clip & then wrap my center around the clip & glue it too. I guess it is a double safety thing in my mind. I know that will be much harder to pull it off that way.

Same here. Although I've had a few where I didn't, because it seemed to bulky.

I just glue mine to the clip and have not had a problem. In fact when I have made a mistake it is darn hard to get them off. I do glue and wrap on french barrettes, though.
