Default Crochet headbands and flower clips

I have a children's retail store and carry hats and headbands. I use flowers that are attached to alligator clips. I then clip on to the hat or headband. My question is... do the clips dig in to am infant's head? The clip seems flat so I wouldn't think it would hurt. Can anyone help me out?

Thanks
Jodi

I used alligator clips on headbands on my dd when she was an infant and the clip did not bother her. I think as long as the headband is not constricting, then the clip should be fine!

I make bows, hats, clips, everything. I also have a baby and 2 year old that wear these and have never complianed or had marks from them. Mine are fully line, but I've used alligators and snap clips on the baby and every type of clip on my older daughter. Babies' heads are very soft and a clip may leave a mark, but not actually hurt them. With my first daughter we used headband sometimes, but they always left a red mark so I stopped. It wasn't hurting her, but I did not like the big line that was there when you took it off. My girls don't wear anything for very long right now, they pull everything out.

My clips are not lined, so I don't know if that makes a difference in your response. They are flat so I would think they are fine to use also.

Thanks!
