Default Making Bottlecaps?

making my own bottlecaps is the next thing on my long list of things to try i've been looking online just kind of off and on for the last couple months for a tutorial that looked good and havent really found anything that looked great. Can anyone suggest one that they have found really helpful?TIA

i wouldn't really waste the money on the tuts none that i have found and paid for never really told me anything i couldn't find for free

get your images printed

then glue or stick them on the caps, i use the xryon sticker maker, permanent adhesive

then seal the images and edges of images with a couple coats of modge podge, let that dry good

then coat with the envirotex lite , run a lighter over to pop bubbles =)

then sit flat to dry , i let mine dry about 24 hours =)

I just started making bottlecaps earlier this week. Most have turned out okay, my biggest annoyance is the image lifting. I use both xyron sticker maker and modge podge, but I still have issues on some. Here's a good tut:

She is a member here, and she even gives a free image sheet on her website. Let me know if you have a questions, I'm not a pro but I can try

do you ladies prefer the xyron sticker maker or does a glue stick work better. walmart has the small sticker maker for like $8.

I used glossy accents tonight just for a few to do quickly and they look cute! I just pulled out the bubbles with a toothpick. I just bought the glossy accents the other day to try it out because I have heard good things.

I will buy the ET Lite soon when i need to make a BIG batch. The glossy accents was 5.99 and this bottle is good for making a few, not a big batch. I bought the Elmers extra strength glue stick, works great! the image did not lift.

I also bought triple thick brilliant brush on gloss glaze, can someone please elaborate on that product?

Hope this helps some as I am new to doing this myself.
