I added some hot glue to the tape then attached it to a lined clip

I pull the tape off, then hot glue them to a lined clip.

Has anyone found that hot gluing the tape does not work well? I bought some from the puff buy in January and they had the double sided tape on them already. I have never used the double sided tape before, so I did not trust is alone. I used hot glue too. My daughter wore one for the 1st time on Easter and the puff fell off the clip. We just got to church, so it was only in her hair for less than an hour.

DO you think it's best to remove the double sided tape or was this just a fluke? I have never had a problem with my bows falling off.
Thanks!

This raises a very interesting question.... we were just having conversation about wether or not the tape is necessary...I have always made them with the tape BUT have in the last few weeks wondered if it would be just as well to just leave it off. I would love to hear what more people think....

I use E6000 on the tape then stick to a lined clip. None of my puffs has fallen off to date. I like that there is tape already on it, but I have also used them without. But if I had to choose, I prefer tape on it! HTH

I don't use tape on mine either, just hot glue. Though I've never bought the puffs, I make my own.

LOL I always tell people I use hot glue so when I use them for my own stock stuff I never put the tape on to begin with. hmmmmmm maybe I should start a poll.

I also take off tape and hot glue, but I am by no means an expert I am very new at this but I don't use the tape and it would save me time personally if it wasn't on there but your puff's are so great that I take them as you make them so I don't have to .
