DENTAL FLOSS is your bestfriend when it comes to korkers and I actually use it even when I sew my other bows
It doesn't slip and it definately doesn't break...believe me, it's cut my finger plenty of times...never broken though. Haha

I use atleast 25 pieces when I make korkers. The one I posted the pic of isn't sewed. The dental floss pulls nice and tight and stays!

I only sew the really small ones I make for my 3 week old granddaughter or for pig tails for the 3 yr olds. I am going to have to give the dental floss trick a try. Thanks for sharing.

just tried the dental floss and WOW i love it. do you just double tie or do you wrap around a few times?

I double the floss, tie once, then wrap it back around and tie...pull as tight as possible, and then double knot
