Question women's socks for baby legs

Has anyone seen any CHEAP women's knee-hi socks lately that would make cute baby legs? I remember Walmart had some last year at this time (I think they were a 2-pk for $3.99) but they don't seem to have them this year. Bummer.

I just bought some at wal mart for $3.50 a pair and they were a joke. The argyle ones come apart and fray around the design the first time my daughter wore them and she is 3, I couldent even imagine what they would do on a baby that crawls! Target has cheap ones but I havent tried them yet.

I have bought some knee high socks for my 6 yr old from Target in the girls section. I would say they are good quality. No rips or tears yet and she has had them for a few months!
