I am guessing but try a rotery cutter and maybe use a brick or a cinder block and rub it againest that.

I used to get scissors and rub them against the bill (?) of the hat back and forth and make it fray a bit on my old baseball caps.

I've been putting applique's on my hats. I'm not really sure which method is the best so far. First I just hot glued the applique onto the hat and it seems sturdy, but a little stiff. Secondly I used wonder under, but it doesn't always hold as well because its hard to make sure you iron it on well. What is the best way to attach applique's to these??? any suggestions greatly appreciated...
