Default Bitty Bows-glue or sew?

I had been sewing even my teensy bitty bows, but b-4 my craft show I tried gluing them (for time purposes) annd was astonished that I couldn't tell the difference between sewn vs. glued. Anyone else glue? Also, found a CUTE tree that made a perfect display for the bitty bows. Looks like all the lady did was starch a doilly and shape into a cone-it is about 18" high.

I use clear rubber bands to secure them, then glue them. I've NEVER had one be less than great quality. None have ever fallen apart, and they look great.

I also LOVE the doily tree. Really shabby chic looking...

ah, can you elaborate on that? it sounds like a really efficient way of doing things. i just find sewing the little boogers a little bit difficult
