Default Raffle item

So I signed up for my 1st show, Dec. 5th. It's a fundraiser by the senior class at our high school. The fee was 25.00 and also an item made by the vendor to be raffled off. So I'm trying to figure out what to make. I'm thinking about a bow basket made up really cute. Do you think this would be ok? Anyone ever make something to be raffled off? If so what did you make? Ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't done any shows or raffles, but just an idea of what to put in your basket. I would be cute to do some christmas sculptures, if you do them, bows or headbands in the schools colors, and some everyday bows. That would make a nice assortment. That is a nice idea or a bow holder with the items on it. ~Bonnie

Jill, Have you seen the really cute "flower" pots that the gals on here have been making? They are adorable and I think that would be a fun way to go if you don't do the basket!

I can't remember what everyone was putting as the description of them. They were really cute, though, like the terracotta pots and decorate them then put in various painted/ribbon wrapped sticks & put the flower/bow clip at the top so it looks like a flowerpot. Like this one that hypatia did:

Thanks for posting my pic~glad it wasn't just me that thought it was cute, 'cause no one bought one at my show!

I was also going to add woven ribbon headband in school colors or one of your awesome pieces of sparkley jewlrey with school colors. Good luck with the show!

I just did one this weekend for a preschool Breakfast with Santa Charity Raffle. I included some 3 Christmas clippies, 2 solid colour bows and a headband with a flower. I put everything on bow cards and put them in a memory box and tied it with some ribbon. I lined the memory box with tissue paper so it had a wrapped box look to it and chose a box with my business colours.
