Default where to attach the clippie

with regards to the princess ribbon sculptures.... where do you place the clippie? length wise with the closed end at the head... the other way around.... or do you put it at the shoulders? i don't know which way I like it best. Just trying to get the court of opinion...

I put mine across the shoulders--as I thought that if you put it the other way, when you put it into hair, it would lay sideways--right?

I do mine length wise so it hides under the princesses' dress. Mine have the clip opening near the head.

It really depends on how it's worn in the hair. I do it across the shoulders/arms, works best when my daughters hair is in a ponytail. But if sweep her bangs off to the side it lays kinda sideways, but still looks ok. I thought about trying one with the clip from head to toe.

I've made cinderella and tinkerbell so far and I've attached the clip at the shoulders b/c it the part of on wither side of the head - it works! I've never thought about the ponytails though...

I put all of mine across the shoulders. I like it better that way.

I also put them at the shoulders - I've made Belle, Cinderella and Ariel so far. I've thought about putting it the other way though because w/ all of the "hair" piled on top of Belle and Cinderella's heads they seem to flop back a little bit - which is not too noticable when on my daughter if the head is right next to hers but in a pony it sometimes isn't - hope this makes sense.

Sarah Mock -

I would love to see pics. I've only seen Cinderella, Mulan and Tinkerbell.
