I'm still so unclear on how to make a double layer tutu and then i stumble across a triple layer? Wow. I don't suppose anyone can enlighten me on this awesome layered tutu thing could they?

When I do more layers, I just layer them up and then tie them just like if i was doing one

so at this step. Pic 3 From these instructions

I would have SEVERAL layers in the same tie down or I would slip the extra layers through the loops before I tie it

I haven't tried it yet, but perhaps you could do a 1-2 stripes of each of the 3 colors, stack them on top of each other, then tie. Stack the same way, all the way around, then when you full it, pull the top color up, the middle kinda straight out, and the bottom color down. Don'tr pull them so far apart that there's a gap, just in those directions to separate the colors.

I sew mine, more because I got the sewing machine as a wedding gift and I feel I should use it for something! LOL Any pattern I have ever tried does not come out, but I can do a tutu!

I love the tutu, not sure how it is done though!

Not sure if this is how she made hers but some take 2 or 3 different lengths and alternate when they put the strips on. So for example when tying the strips on the first would be 12 inch and then the next will be 8 inch, 12 inch and then 8 inch. The shorter lengths will always stick out. Hope this helps as I am not the best at explaining things.

Here are instructions on how to do tow layers. There are two different ways. I haven't tried these yet, but they'll probably help you out.
