Default Need Help with my Bow

I am a beginner and I am trying to make this kind of bow [ I purchased this from a store and not sure abt the correct name of the bow]. Blue bow is the purchased bow and Green is the one that I made. Mine is not even a little close to the actual one. Please help me.
I am using these insructions.

Also let me know if I can use any other instructions.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully One day I can get the right fold and right bow for my little girl.

It looks like you need to twist it to make the loops.

You are trying to make one of the more difficult bows, I would suggest sarting off with something easier and I think any other bow on that site would be easier than that one!

It took me a long time to get the twisted boutique bow down, there are some ladies here that have been making bows for years and still can't figure it out. So don't worry it is not just you! LOL

Try this, it might be a little easier and has a similar look: http://www.girlythingsbows.com/perky_loops.html

Or if you are visual person there is a video of the boutique style: http://www.girlythingsbows.com/video_tutorials.html

You can try this. It's the figure 8 method.

I cant even do the one you had in your post and Ive been doing this for 6 yrs.....

Also, I think that 3/8 inch ribbon is difficult to work with, thy 7/8 or at least 5/8

Thanks for all your input. I did not realize that I started with one of the difficult ones. I am so much relieved that its just not me. I will start with a little easier one and may be will feel much better when I have that right.
