Default Help!!! What am I doing wrong??

I just started doing the covered button and they are not coming out right. When I am doing the covered button and I put the back on it, the fabric is folding on the sides and its not perfectly straight around the entire thing. What am I doing wrong??
Thanks for your help,
Jineane

It seems to help when I do them if I push the edges in tight. Hmmmm, how to explain--after you put the fabric & top part of button in, use the tip of your finger & push it down good into the edges. Does that even make sense???? I'm not sure how else to explain, but I've found if I do it that way, I end up with almost no buttons that have the "folds".

push very well the fabric inside the button and try to get it even before you put the back on top and push it in place

I also put the button in and then take the fabric and pull it sideways a tad to take out any folds on the sides then make sure the fabric is even before putting the back on and popping it in.
also, cut some of the fabric down, if there is too much in that back side, it will bunch up.
