Default Crystals/Rhinestones

I made this today

and I am really disappointed in the quality of the crystal after I glued it. It looked all cracked and messed up.

Are there certain ones I should be buying? This was just a cheap walmart one. I certain glue? I used E6000 or whatever it was. I am just really bummed

I swear the E-6000 does something to the back of rhinestones! I've seen others complain of this. I don't personally know of another alternative as hot glue isn't as secure!

By the way that bow is SOOOOOO CUTE!!! That would take me an hour to do!

I have had that happen too with e6000 and fabritac. They eat away at the back or something. I now use gemtac and it is perfect.

I use hot glue, the e6k eats it, I also dont use the cheap ones, all of my crystals are swarovskis or glass that I buy wholesale or on sale but that is just me, I like the glass rather than the plastic

I also only use the swrovski crystals and use my hot fix tool or my wood burner very carefully. The e6k will melt anything plastic so I stay away from those kinds of rhinestones. Gemtack is about the only other alternative and does work well

Thanks! Where can I find the glass ones? So does Gem Tac keep them nice looking AND hold securely?
