Default more stupid bottlecap troubles

For some reason now when ever I use the daimond glaze my images are bleeding and turning yellowish. There's also bubbles. When I try the clear packing tape it makes a big mess. do you put in on before or after you punch out? Isn't ET lite pricey too? I thought when I looked at HL it was $25 bucks. Any help from you super smart bottle cap makers would be great!

I GET MY ETLITE FROM MICHEALS AND USE THE 40% OFF COUPON, YOU COULD DO THE SAME AT HOBBY LOBBY

BUT ITS SOOOO MUCH BETTER THEN DIAMOND GLAZE I HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS

THIS IS WHAT I DO STEP BY STEP

1 PRINT IMAGES
2 APPLY MICRO GLAZE ( TO STOP IMAGES FROM BLEEDING) BOUGHT OFF ETSY
3 PUNCH THE IMAGES
4 RUN THEM THRU THE STICKER MAKER AND STICK THEM ON
5 APPLY 1-2 COATS OF MODGE PODGE TO SEAL EDGES
6 MIX AND APPLY THE ET LITE
7. RUN LIGHTER OVER CAPS TO POP BUBBLES IN THE GLAZE

If you are using modge podge, you don't need to seal your images with anything else. I do 1 coat of modge podge on images that I get printed at Walmart and 2 coats on the ones I print at home.

ET is definitely worth the price.

Yep, use the Michael's coupon to save on ET Lite.

I use Modge Podge also to seal my images. I don't use diamond glaze either. I tried using it, and I had so many bubbles. I personally use 3D Lacquer and my caps always turn out nice. I bought ET Lite, I just haven't used it yet LOL.

Michael's has a package of ET Lite that's only $10-$11, so with the 40% off coupon it is pretty cheap. That package will do a LOT of necklaces.

I just want to make sure that I have this right. I put the modge podge all over the image to seal it, right? Making sure to cover the edges? Then after it is dry, use the ET lite?

I have modge podge and used it to glue the images to the bottle caps. I used very little and 2 days later when I tried to take off my ruined images from the glaze, the modge podge was STILL WET under the image! Man, how long does it take for that stuff to dry?

I guess I will have to breakdown and get some ET lite and a sticker maker!

Thanks a lot, I love it here. Everyone is always so helpful!!
