Thanks for the tut, something else to add to my "to do" list.

So, we get 4 necklaces of the tights??? Also, will it work if we decorate one side of the washer and then in the other we can use it for the bottlecap to adhere?? So we only need to turn the necklace around and show the design washer. Am I making any sense?

If you do it in 1/2" strips, you should get a TON of necklaces from one pair of tights. I haven't actually counted how many of them. I'm not quite understanding decorating the washer. What do you mean by decorating it? Like making a finished washer thats used for washer necklaces? Something like that? If so, that seems like it would be a lot of work for really nothing since it will be covered up by the bottle cap anyways. Maybe I'm not understanding though!

I am able to make 30-35 necklaces out of 1 pair of kids microfiber tights (bought mine at Target) .

Like making a finished washer and then turn it around when you want the bottlecap to adhere, so you have two products in one. Like one day you can have the necklace showing the finished washer and another day you can have the necklace showing the bottlecap. Capisce??

I get 50 necklaces from 1 pair of adult tights and they are thick also. I don't like skimpy necklaces. inside out caps are a lot more comfortable for kids and it is smooth on their neck plus 1 kid got cut when the cap got near their neck???

If ya'll sel these you will want to make sure you stress that there are magnets used.some people cant have magnets on their body for health reason.
my son use to have a pace maker, so he couldn't have toys that had magnets. there are more kids out there with pacemakers than you would think there is. just a little fyi

I'm still confused about what I should do aboutbthe washer being way bigger than my magnet. The magnet is the neo magnet very strong one but its much smaller than center of washer so only option I can see is try to order a bigger size? Dang! Oh btw I do my caps with pic on inside of cap any suggestions

I think the magnet fits inside the washer when attached to bottlecap, does that make sense? (if i'm wrong-please some one clear this up)

These are super cute. Thank you for the tut. I will have to put these on my shopping list for my granddaughters and nieces or it will have to wait until after Christmas because my list of things I want to make for the 8 of them is too long already. I love all the wonderful ideas and tuts you ladies are willing to share but it is very very addicting.

The magnet does not fit inside the washer hole on mine. The magnet is so strong that once you get it near the washer, it just sticks on there. You should be fine with the smaller magnet, just experiment where to glue it. I would guess the top portion of the cap.
Thanks for the warning about pacemakers. Magnets are in so many things. My friend had her daughters necklace in her pocket and got stuck to the counter at Domino's while picking up her pizza!
