But what a great way to use up some scraps of fabric and ribbon. 3 inches of ribbon I just measured out 7 double prong clips to see. Would be kind of interesting to have one made for the ribbon flower clips too.

Oh how cute!!! I'm not a big sewerbut I can't wait to give this a try! Does anyone know what kind of white fabric is used for the inside part? I like how white shows off the clips more!

I'm in for some intructions too. I figure it was an outside fabric, then something in the middle, and then inside. I'm not a sewer so that was my guess...

lol

Ya know what would be even more practical, in qty wise? Modification of the Crayon Roll. Insteads of sewing the part where you insert your crayons, just replace it with the ribbon (the white thing..lol), say maybe 2 length of ribbons across (just like the clippie case), make width (top to bottom) a tad wider (just like the clippie case)...wallaaa.. A Clippie Roll a la Clippie Case...or sumthin' sumthin'

ETA: Kinda like buying crayons. Instead of buying the 12 counts, you might as well buy the 24 counts or the 36 counts (while we're at it..lol) Cheaper! ...

well, just maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe, it might work...just thinking out loud..

Here's my take on it...Its such a great idea, I am forever loosing clips in my daughters diaper bag or in the car! I didn't do the top stitching on this yet because I was too lazy to change the thread in my machine but I would top stitch around the outside and where it folds as well
Thanks,
Amanda

P.S.-Please ignore the smudge on the front of the fabric!

Love it. What were your measurement? If someone embroidered, you could take that extra step too

I just made mine and used a light batting inside (between the two layer of fabrics) for some weight. Also, a 7/8" ribbon works great too instead of the elastic!

I've made these before. I do the double fold up and use a snap to close.

I llove all the ones you guys have made. Since I don't really sew it isn't something I can do without instructions.
