Default Fast/easy way to cut Hold-It tape for no-slips?

I finally found the Duck Hold-It tape, and bought a roll. My question is what's the easiest/fastest way to cut them evenly? I've been using a rotary cutter & mat, but it's not what I would call "easy" OR "fast".

How do YOU cut them? I'm cutting them to the size of 1 1/4" x 1/4". Thanks for any tips!!

So where did you find it? I need to get me some so I can make all my clips no slip. I had no idea how to do it.

They have it at Walmart by the duct tape. I had to look for awhile before I found it. It was under $9 for a roll, but looks like it will last forever! It already has adhesive on the back, so it is so much easier than using shelf liner!!

I use sharp scissors and cut it into a rectangle that will fit the clip. I can cut a very straight line though....years of sewing and scrapbooking I suppose...lol. Maybe someone else on the board has some better advice for you!

Yep, over in the paint department where all the different types of tapes are. There's a TON of different Duck brand tapes--just look for the "Hold-It" tape. Yeah, I about croaked when I saw it was about 8.25 a roll, but after I figured out that I could make 2400 no slips with it, I couldn't complain It will last me a LONG LONG LONG time since I only make stuff for my dd and a few nieces!!

I cut mine a smidge smaller than 1/4" wide and then 1 1/4" long. I cut it using my rotary cutter and my cutting mat, like you're doing. This might seem silly, but I attached pics of how I do it and the final product. Hope this helps!

Nope, it's kinda like the shelf liner on one side, so it's got some "traction", and the other side is adhesive--just pull the paper backing off.
