I made two last night and one was HUGE 4" end to end!! OMG!

then I made a tiny one but I gues I didn't string evenly cause they weren't round... that or I sewed and tied it wrong. I threaded it all and then wrapped it around the center... I might not be able to make these

they are too darn cute though...

I make all my korkers from scratch. I was going to get the premade ones in a buy to try them out but the buy fell through. It is probably for the best. I will just continue to make my own. It is not that hard but from start to finish pretty time consuming. I have a process though... making large batched of korkered ribbon at once, then when I feel froggie I cut and seal the ribbon, then another froggie day I will sew them... then I will get around to lining alligators and attaching the finished korker to the clip. I do use Stiff Stuff spray when they are finished... I may have to switch to the starch but I started with this stuff and once you commit to a process it is hard to change your ways.

For those of you who starch....what type of oven do you have = gas or electric? Just curious.

I have a gas stove and I'm always paranoid that I'm going to blow us all up! LOL. I've baked korkers and then hit them with fabric stiffener, but it never seems to work.

Thanks for all the tips!!!

Can you or someone tell me how to get the cute little "snowball" shape? Mine look so lopsided still. Maybe I am not putting enough pieces on there or something. Not sure, could really use some help. So far my best looking ones are the minis that I make with the tut from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated and accepted. Please and thank you.
