Default Bottle Cap Beading

I have been making bottle cap necklaces for a while now and was thinking I want to start adding some beads to the other side of some of them for Christmas. Just wondering the best way to attach these? I was thinking head pins (looks like a long pin with a bigger end) I believe they are called but wasn't sure?

Thanks in advance for any tips.

You are on the right track. All that I know is that you use the head pin, put the bead on there and then use pliers to twist the other end and make a loop. LOL that is about as far as I have gotten in this venture! Anyone else care to help us get further.........................

Headpins is the correct name. Making the loop will require a pair of round nose pliers. I add beads to all my bottlecap necklaces and to my bottlecap earrings.

Yep you need some head pins and then just wire wrap. Here's some examples that I did for a customer just to give you an idea what they look like. You will also need to put a spacer bead at the bottom (I also put one at the top too makes it easier to wire wrap) so your bead doesn't fall off. For Christmas ones it's also fun to add charms, jingle bells, xmas lights etc.

Thanks everyone. I had my hubby pick me up some pins today to try.

PixiePopTops - thanks for sharing they are super cute. Do you add your own connectors to your ribbon to make them necklaces? I was doing this for a while and found it very time consuming.

I seal the ribbon ends, put on ribbon crimps, add some chain and a lobster connector.

Super cute necklaces!!! Do you ever add the crystal to the top? Do you do this before the ET or after?
