Default What kind of bow is this?

It doesn't look like a true pinwheel to me. How would you make a bow where both ends are on top?? Any ideas? TIA!

For the first pic, it almost looks like they made a bow with no tails and then put a peice of ribbon (like a spike kind of) on top and then sewed or tied the bow. I hope that made sense.

If you have the "M" instructions for a pinwheel bow, use that but put both tail on top directly. This bow is very easy to make and is used with one piece of ribbon. Both tails are on top because of the print. Here are some bows on my website that use the same technique. Both pics of the bows above are the same folding technique, just fluffed tails.:

Could be that she flipped the bow around, b.c on pinwheels, the tails tend to be on the back. She could have started with the ribbon upside down. Just another thought.
