Default What kind of bow is this?

Does anyone know what type of bow this is? Can it be made with the NBNG templates? It is not a basic boutique as both tails end up behind the bow. I thought it could be the split tails bow shown in the NBNG book, but it is made with one piece of ribbon, not two (I have some of these and took one apart trying to figure this out).

Any tips on how to make this?

Thank you,

This is how I do them

You could also do it like a pinwheel only just flat instead of full

It really does look like the basic boutique - they probably just folded it different. I don't think it really matters where the tails end up (theirs both out, or one in one out from NBNG), because you can't see them anyway...

it looks exactly like the basic bows i just made lastnight with my nbng template. the tails are correct. one is on the back and one is kind of on the inside of the loops.

I just enlarged the photo and it actually looks like it is two pieces of ribbon with a center. It does not look like it overlaps in the center like most of the bows I have seen.

Yes, it sure does look like one layer of this bow. Maybe she cut the ribbon too long and just did not cut it off and heat seal it. It almost throws the bow off
