Default HELP - My silicone won't dry

I use the silicone as my non-slip method and it is taking forever to dry on my clips. I've used it in the past and it only took a day or so to dry but it has been longer than that. Any suggestions? Do you think the silicone is just too old?

Same for me...mine is dry in several hours every time I use it. Though I have read other people having a hard time getting the silicone to dry....

I do apply a thin coat. I'm using a brand called GE Household Glue, Silicone II, 100% clear silicone sealant. Maybe I should try using a different kind. What brand do you use?

I have no patience at all, so I use a portable fan heater to blow dry them - or sometimes I used the hair dryer, too.

I personally use Dap, and mine dries within a couple of hours, too. Maybe you should switch brands?

I bought mine online at Amazon. It was between $6-7 and I got free 2-day shipping because I'm an Amazon Prime member.
