Default Stacked Bow question

Is there a reason that the bottom bow is there? I've made a couple stacked bows and i just wonder why i put that bottom bow there. LOL

I put a bottom bow, I don't know why. Personal preferance I guess? I like to make more work for myself so that I can charge more? LOL

Thats funny! Well atleast now i know there is no structural value to it. I've been making some for my daughter and i never really want to put the bottom bow b/c it's just more weight, she's only 2 so her hair isn't really thick yet. I think i will try some without from now on!

Thanks ladies!

When i make my stacked bow I don't put the bottom bow, either....usually. I think the bow still looks fancy, but not quite as big, which some people like. I call it a "short stack" bow.

Can you show me a picture of what you mean? I guess I am confused and have never made a stacked myself, besides just double stacking a bigger one and smaller one. Thanks.
