Default Hot Fix tool question

My crystals keep sticking. Anyone know why? How to prevent it from happening?

I can buy a new tip if I have to, but the tip that I am using is practically new itself, I have only used it a handful of times.

I honeslty really like it, but this is a constant problem. It is hit or miss, some crystals slide right out and onto the fabric and some I have to mess with for 5 minutes to get them placed.

I suspect human error though. Once I can figure out this issue then I suspect I will love Hot fix. Love it so much that I want to write a peom about it. Love it so much that I might want to marry it. A real kinda love.

But we have to work out this little issue first.

Well aren't you smart! I have to try that! I bet a candle would work great also. I love the bling but three hot fix tools later, I do not have the patience! My stones stick 90% of the time.

I see in I am for a rocky turmultous relationship aren't I?

I may need counseling.

I also use the hot dot tip, that works pretty good when all else fails. But I haven't given up yet.

I will report back if my goggle search turns up any helpful or useful information.

Not sure about the candle as I actually put the glue side of the stone IN the flame to get it to melt

I used to rhinestone dance costumes, so I did alot at a time. I would lay all the rhinestones stone side down on an electric griddle and let them get hot. Then I'd use a toothpick to pick up the stones and put them on the costume. Since they would all be hot, I could go pretty fast. You could probably use one of those candle warmers or coffee cup warmers for smaller amounts of stones.
